Things We're Excited About Right Now

There is always something happening around here. Some things are planned months in advance. Some start with a "so, I was thinking..." conversation (more on that here). And some things just happen to make us really excited when we stop long enough to notice them.
So, here's what we're excited about right now.
Our Perennials
Perennials are a bit of a long game.
The saying goes that the first year they sleep, the second year they creep, and the third year they leap. This year, we're really seeing the creep.
Our perennial beds are filling in, stretching out, and starting to look like the vision we had when we planted them. That's especially exciting because perennials are an investment, both financially and in time. You plant them knowing you're going to have to be patient. Seeing them establish so well, especially in our Southeast Texas heat, has been
pretty awesome. We can't wait to see what another year brings.
Bloom Bags
Our Bloom Bags are finally here, and we are having so much fun with them. The summer patterns are currently available on the website, while behind the scenes we're already sewing for fall and, yes, picking out our Christmas fabrics. We're especially excited to see how the seasonal collections evolve and to eventually share some of the coordinating accessories we've been working on too.

Fall Subscriptions
Our Fall Harvest Bloom Club is available now, and we are already looking forward to this season.
There is something about fall flowers that we just love. The colors, the textures, the way they come together in a bouquet. They are some of our favorites to grow and arrange. A subscription is a fun way to treat yourself throughout the season, but it also makes a really lovely gift for someone who loves flowers.

Charlie's Training
This week was a big one for Charlie.
We started training, and all three of us had a great time. We all learned a lot, Charlie got more treats than she probably thought were possible, and there were plenty of belly rubs. We're excited to keep working with her and her trainer (ahem, I mean our trainer lol).
ALL THINGS HOLIDAY
We know. Fall isn't even here yet. But we're already talking about the holidays.
Between holiday gift guides, highlighting some of our favorite small businesses, planning our holiday collection, and working on a very special save the date, there is a lot happening behind the scenes.
