Ice Moon Farms began with a dream during one of life's most uncertain seasons.
Rick and I (Rose) met while working on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic. After long, emotionally demanding days, we often found ourselves dreaming about a slower, more intentional life, one where we could work with our hands, care for the land, and build something meaningful together.
Our original plan was simple: grow vegetables with a small patch of flowers. Then a tornado and flooding changed everything.
As we rebuilt, the flowers kept showing up. They continued to bloom when so much else felt uncertain, bringing moments of peace, hope, and joy when we needed them most. Slowly, they
became more than just part of the farm, they became the heart of it.
Today, Ice Moon Farms is a family-owned flower farm rooted in curiosity, resilience, and community. Every season teaches us something new, and every bouquet reflects the beauty of what is growing right here in Southeast Texas.
Our hope is that when you take home our flowers, you're taking home more than a bouquet. We hope you're reminded that even after life's hardest seasons, beautiful things can still bloom.

Traditions At The Farm
Every farm has its routines, but ours is also filled with traditions that remind us why we started. We grow many of our flowers by the phases of the moon, embracing a practice that keeps us connected to the natural rhythms of the seasons.
Roses will always hold a special place in our hearts, they were the very first flowers we grew and propagated together, and they carry the legacy of Rick's mother and grandmother, who shared their love and knowledge of growing roses with him.
You'll rarely find us without our farm dog, Charlie, nearby, keeping us company. Each week, we leave a bouquet in the fields in honor of loved ones who have passed, a quiet reminder of gratitude, remembrance, and the beauty that continues to grow.
After a successful market or a big holiday, we celebrate the simple way: with our favorite dinner and dessert together. These little traditions are woven into the heart of Ice Moon Farms, making every season, and
every bouquet, a little more meaningful.
Flower Care Guide
A little care goes a long way in helping your locally grown flowers stay fresh and beautiful.

Trim the stems at a 45-degree angle before placing your bouquet in a clean vase.

Fill your vase with fresh, cool water and top it off as needed.

Remove any leaves that would sit below the water line to help keep the water clean.

Change the water every 1–2 days and trim the stems again each time for the best vase life.

Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, as excess heat can cause blooms to wilt more quickly.

Avoid placing your bouquet near ripening fruit, which releases ethylene gas that can shorten the life of fresh flowers.

Remove fading blooms as needed to help the remaining flowers continue looking their best.
With proper care, your bouquet will stay fresher longer, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of locally grown, seasonal flowers for days to come.
