Five Things That Made Us Smile This Week

It was a hard week for flower farming.

The heat was relentless, and even though we do everything we can to protect our flowers, there is only so much you can do when temperatures climb into the triple digits. Add the possibility of a tropical storm, and it's safe to say we spent more time than usual watching the weather.

But there are always things worth celebrating.

Here are five things that made us smile this week.

1. A post-dinner bouquet.

2. Our website is officially live. This has been months in the making, and seeing it finally come to life has been incredibly exciting.

3. Seeing our Bloom Bags come to life. Watching an idea go from a picture in my head, to a sketch in Rick's notebook, to something we can actually hold in our hands has been so rewarding. We can't wait to get these out to all of you.

4. Charlie being Charlie. She has such a knack for finding the funniest sleeping positions imaginable. She keeps us laughing, even on the long days.

5. Taking time to celebrate us. We tend to get consumed by work. It's another reason for taking a summer pause. This week, we made time to celebrate our relationship and the life we're building together.
